Wellness Advising Process
Sessions are at least two, 30 minute appointments, or two, 60 minute appointments
WELLNESS ADVICE IS DETERMINED BY THE SPECIFIC HEALTH NEEDS OF THE CLIENT.
- First there is an exploration of a client's relationship to food, which involves food sourcing, food choices, knowledge of cooking, food combining, and learning of any food intolerances. as well as assessing how much water is consumed daily.
- Second we look at a clients relationship to exercise, stretching, spending time outside, and utilizing heat or hydro therapy such as saunas or hot tubs.
- Next we look at the more quiet rituals of self-care such as: meditation, setting affirmations and intentions, and goal setting.
- Finally we look at the client's home and work life influences, such as family and friends.
Having collected a working knowledge over time of a client's habits, I am then equipped with the knowledge to make a thorough assessment and plan for self-care for the individual. These are either 30 minute or 60 minute sessions. I require at least two sessions, depending on the condition of the client. But the most benefit comes from a session a month so that progress can be accounted for, over several months.
